Ski touring clinic in El Chalten, Patagonia Sur

Would you like to improve your ski touring skills in a unique South American destination? Then come to El Chalten, in Patagonia Sur, for an intensive ski touring clinic!

El Chaltén is located in the Argentine Province of Santa Cruz, within the Los Glaciares National Park. Lying at the foot of the Alps, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, it is one of the most beautiful mountain villages in South America.

The goal of this clinic is that you improve your ski touring skills. We will work on equipment usage, security, and powder and glacier skiing techniques. Keep in mind that you can join me for one or several days!

With varied alpine terrain, a long winter season and top-quality snow, El Chalten is a perfect destination for a thrilling alpine experience. Depending on the weather conditions, the mounts of Vespignani, Mosquito, Crestón y Madsen are some of the posible spots we may visit!

We will define the specific itinerary according to your skills and your physical preparation. However, I recommend at least intermediate piste skiing skills and a good fitness level. Furthermore, keep in mind that ski touring requires hiking and climbing in alpine environments too.
