This is a 6-day adventure, traversing the longest route in Daisetsuzan National Park, located in the center of Hokkaido.
We will travel from Asahidake (the highest mountain on the Island, at 2290 m) to Mt Furano (1912 m). On the way, we’ll admire the beautiful natural environment of this region.
I recommend this tour to hikers with extensive experience in long treks. During the night, we will stay in a mountain hut and also in tents.

Our tour will be starting from Asahidake onsen (hot spring). From there I will guide you to Asahidake (2,291m), Hakuundake(2,230m), Tomuraushi(2,141m), Oputateshike (2,013m), Bieidake(2,052m), Tokachidake(2,077m) and Furanodake(1,912m).
Total walking hours will be about 5-8 hours each day.

I'm Jun, I'm a JMGA (Japan Mountain Guides Association) mountain and ski guide. I'm also a ski and telemark instructor. I graduated from the Hokkaido University. I have been skiing all around Hokkaido and I know every corner of this incredible island. I'm also an expert in avalanche safety management.
I'm guiding my friends and clients in all the most beautiful places of Hokkaido: Shiretoko (UNESCO World Nature Heritage), Daisetsuzan National Park, Rishiri, Niseko, Yotei volcano, Asahikawa... hiking, skiing and mountaineering.
