Description

Let me invite you on a new adventure for more outstanding views of Lake Garda, Italy. We’ll hike to the top of the stunning Monte Stivo and continue to Rifugio Marchetti on an incredible day you’ll love.

This circular route will take us through some spectacular views of the surrounding valleys, the Brenta Dolomites, the Valle dei Laghi, the Valle dell’Adige and the magical turquoise Lake Garda. It is an easy path through the Italian Pre-Alps that will provide you with a relaxing experience outdoors. It will take us, approximately, 6 hours to complete.

Our hiking path begins and ends at Malga Campo. First, we’ll hike through forests, pastures, and ridges to reach the Cima del Monte Stivo, located at 2,050 meters above sea level. There, the panoramic views are fantastic! We’ll then continue to the Rifugio Marchetti, for a relaxing lunch and break. We’ll descend through the ridge path, pines and pasture of High herds to reach our starting point.

So send your request and follow me on an incredible hike through this beautiful Alpine valley.

About the guide

Certified mountain and ski guide and is directing since 15 years the Mountain School Mmove (former Friends of Arco). In the past, his passion had driven him for weeks to the solitude of the Alps, of Patagonia, or of the icy heights of the Karakorum to climb famous walls and peaks and open up new routes.

Today his priorities have moved. He wants to share his enthusiasm for the mountains - while working with his guests and in his spare time with his sons, as his father has once done with him. Mauro Girardi is very proud on its enthusiastic and highly qualified team of local Mountain-and Ski Guides, Hiking Guides and office employees. Mmove is not just a mountain school, but is a steadily growing circle of friends, who would like to realize great experiences. We like to Mmove it !!

Mmove is the only mountain school in the Alto Garda region with a guaranteed weekly program and activities for all tastes and the whole family.

The team is formed by 8 IFMGA/UIAGM Guides, so if Mauro is not available, one of the other highly qualified members of the team will be the guide.

This was a good trip. I joined with my 7y/o daughter who has no climbing experience. She had a good time. Although I am not sure how to change this, from my personal perspective, the trip would have been even better if there would also be a bigger challenge for adults.

My son and I were planning a trip to climb in Arvo, Italy and wanted a good start to our trip so we booked a guide with Explore-share.com, and it was the best thing we did. Lupe and the staff handled every inquire we had, were really professional then ended up hooking us up with MMove based in Arco. We booked a private guide for 3 days of rock climbing and we boosted our grades in those days. Our guide Matteo was bloody awesome, amazing guide who just gets that little bit more out of your. Our grades jumped thanks to Matteo. Day 1 was sport climbing to check what we could do, single pitches and going hard. The afternoon was a multi pitch. Then for day 2 and 3 we pumped out multi pitch after multi pitch. Best 3 days of climbing in a long time. My Son went from grade 15/16 to leading 23's. This 3 days started our trip and gave us the confidence to go on climbing for another 2 weeks. Thanks guys for an amazing wicked time We will be back soon
