Description

This is a 7-day trekking to Iceland, the land of fire and ice. Join me and visit unforgettable places.

Located in the North Atlantic and on the edge of the Arctic Circle, Iceland is a unique destination for nature and outdoor lovers.

In fact, the combination of fire, ice, air and water turns this place into a surreal environment, and gives a sense of déjà vu. As if you were in the creation of the world.

This is a beautiful, wild and overwhelming land, full of unpredictable adventures.

During this trip we'll hike from the Landmannalaugar volcanic plateau to the ocean shore. Besides, we'll make our way through lava fields, rivers and waterfalls icecap.

Please contact me if you want to be a part of this amazing adventure. I will be happy to be your guide there!

I also organize different trips in Switzerland, like hiking to the Salanfe Lake in the Valais.

Vincent

Mountain Leader

I was born in 1978, and I discovered the fascinating world of the high mountain very early, in Valais. I'm a Geographer, specialised in mountain space management in the Alpine Geographical Institute at Grenoble. I then worked for 3 years as a researcher in Geneva University, studying tourism and sustainable development in the mountain.
Always looking for large spaces, I became passionate about traveling by foot, snowshoeing or skiing in the massifs of the world. From Iceland to Patagonia, from Greenland to the Andes Range, from Poland to Ethiopia, I take pleasure in surveying these high territories. In 2007, the nomad call took me to an integral crossing of the alpine arc during 5 months, by foot and in solitary. This adventure led to a documentary film and to writing a book.
Eager to convey my passion for traveling and trekking to a varied public, I became a Hiking Guide. Other than this activity, I teach, give conferences and I am a specialised journalist.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
