Arrive in Asahikawa and meet your guide. Depending on when you get in, you might have time to stretch your legs with a short stroll or try some local cuisine.
Hop on a ropeway that takes you into the Daisetsuzan range, where your alpine adventure begins. Hike through high-mountain terrain and spend the night in a rustic mountain lodge surrounded by wilderness.
Spend the day summiting some of Daisetsuzan’s scenic peaks. After the trek, descend and reward yourself with a relaxing soak at a nearby hot spring inn.

Yuki San is a very good guide. Even with white out he is totally capable to guide us safe back to the ropeway. He also got us really close to the smoke from the volcano. He knows the mountain like his pocket!
