Highlights

I have the pleasure to invite you to a one or more climbing days in the wild and unique environment that the Dolomites offers. It is a real paradise for rock climbers.

This area is known worldwide due to its wide variety of outdoor activities for all levels. In the Dolomites you’ll find rock climbing itineraries for beginners, children as well as for expert alpinists. And of course, I will help you in that search.

I will take you into the amazing Dolomitic landscape, where you’ll enjoy the most breathtaking views from the top of each climbed wall! The Sella Towers, the Pordoi or the Vajolet Towers are some of the mountains we can climb. I will help you find which one best suits your technical condition.

The main objective of these rock climbing days in the Val Di Fassa is that you learn the basic climbing safety concepts (if needed) and techniques. Then, we will select the climbing route according to your level and expectations. Finally, it will be time to practice on the real rock walls and have fun!

And if you have some extra days in the area I also recommend you to live a via ferrata day. It is a really exciting adventure!

So, feel free to get in touch with me if you plan to come in the area. We can discuss together about one or several days of good climbing in the Fassa Valley.

    About the Guide

I was born and raised in Campitello, in Val di Fassa. I am a ski instructor and mountain guide.
My parents have always practiced mountaineering, both for leisure and business, and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Skiing and climbing were my favourite activities growing up.
As the years went by, I became more and more skilled and experienced under the watch of my father, both in techniques and safety measures. I learned the craft of mountain guide and ski instructor from him, since when his clients or students agreed, I would join them in the mountain.
But the true passion started when I moved to Tione for my studies.
I became ski instructor at 19 and mountain guide at 21.

Climbing in the Dolomites with Etienne was absolutely a highlight of our trip. He was an excellent guide, knowledgeable, safe, and a pleasure to spend a day with. Communication leading up to the trip was easy and responsive, and I felt I could ask him any of my numerous questions. Our climb at the Sella Towers was the perfect choice for our first multi-pitch and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

Etienne was a fantastic guide! He suggested doing a multipitch tour of the Sella towers after I contacted exploreshare with a description of my experience, this was a great way for me to check out a bit of the Dolomites and a first taste of multipitch with the limited time I had available. Very friendly and knowledgeable, and went out of his way to help me get to and from the Val Di Fassa. Thanks again, and hope to return in the future!
