Description

Yet another one of the gorgeous peaks in the Cordillera Blanca of Peru, Yanapaccha is a great mountain to climb. And for 3 days, I would like to take you to the summit of this magnificent peak.

The first of the three days of this trip will take you from Huaraz to the Yanapaccha base camp (5,000m), where we will camp for the night. In between those places, we will also visit Yungay (2,500m) and the Quebrada Llanganuco km 42 (4,575m). During this journey, you will get to see the beauty of the Cordillera Blanca, from its array of amazing trees to its vast valleys. We will also enter the Huascaran national park, where you can see unforgettable lagoons like Chinancocha and Orqoncocha.

For the second day of this trip, on the Yanapaccha glacier (5,100m), we will work on several things throughout the day, including rescue techniques and ice climbing. Thus properly preparing you for the climb to come.

On the third and final day of the adventure, we will make our way from the camp to the Yanapaccha summit (5,460m), where you will get plenty of time to enjoy the breathtaking views. Afterwards, we will make our way back to the peak’s base camp and take a transfer back to Huaraz.

This climb can be difficult at times. As a result, you should have prior mountaineering experience, and be at least 18 years of age. You should also be in good physical condition.

Along with the guiding fee, the price also includes camping equipment, meals, group climbing equipment, porters and transportation, but does not include airfare, bus tickets to and from Lima to Huaraz, food in restaurants in Hauraz and gratuities.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
