Located in the south of Poland in the gorgeous Tatras mountains, Zakopane is a fantastic place to explore.
For 2 days, I would like to take you on an extensive and exciting hiking adventure through the Zakopane area. You will get to explore the wonderful trails in the High Tatras that stretch as far as Slovakia. You will also get to explore the town itself before and after the hiking.
Our trip will begin in the Koscieliska Valley. From there we will climb up Ciemniak and Krzesanica and finish on Malolaczniak. You will also get to hike through the Dolina Bialego, the Sarnia peak, and the Strazyska valley. The exact itinerary of this trip will depend on the kind of pace you wish to maintain. And because the area around Zakopane is so large, the amount of it you see will depend on you and your wishes.
There is a reason why Zakopane is such a popular tourist destination, both in the winter and summer seasons. It is a beautiful place, and the sights, both natural and man made, are sensational and memorable. It is also only 100 kilometers away from the city of Krakow, so it makes for a great addition to anybody who is exploring Poland.

Helena was previously booked so I was guided by Beata. Beata was highly accommodating, passionate about her mountains, architecture and people, and went above and beyond what I had paid for! She was particularly careful to keep me safe at all times as the mountain top was icy and slippery - but there was no problem. Beata was so kind in showing me around Zakopane as well and introducing me to friends and family - even asked me join her friends on a day trip out of Zakopane to see some other beautiful areas around the area.
