Cerro Tronador is a geologically active volcano located in the southern part of the Andes Mountains, on the border between Argentina and Chile near the city of Bariloche. It has three peaks: to the east, the Pico Argentino (3200 m), to the west the Pico Chileno (3320 m) and a border summit, called International Peak (3554 m). Mount Tronador is one of the most classic mountain climbing programs in the Nahuel Huapi National Park since it gives you the possibility to venture into the world of mountaineering with the advantage of a simple and comfortable access. Tronador is an excellent mountain school where you can learn and practice many advanced mountaineering techniques.
