I just completed the hiking Rockies trip yesterday. I enjoyed except that I felt at times because of my pace on the trail I was always treated differently . I wanted to share some feedback regarding yesterdays Will Cox Pass hike. I was a little disappointed with how the decision was made not to take me to Will Cox Pass. I have been hiking for the past four days without any difficulty, and when I signed up, I had mentioned that I am slower on uphill climbs. I was comfortable with my pace and understood that I might take a little longer than the others. Today, when the guide suggested that I could get a similar view from Visitor Pass instead of continuing to Will Cox Pass, I felt that perhaps my slower pace was the main reason for the decision. I completely understand that the guide has to consider the pace, safety, and overall experience of the group, and I respect that responsibility. At the same time, I would have appreciated being given the opportunity to decide for myself whether I was comfortable continuing with the hike. I was prepared to go at my own pace and was confident in my ability to manage the hike. I am not looking to make this into a major issue, but I wanted to share how I felt because I had really been looking forward to Will Cox Pass and was disappointed not to have the opportunity to do it. I have done a lot of mountain hiking in the past and I have always done at my pace . There are always people at different pace on the trails .

The only tough part was trying to arrange transport from Banff to the Lake O'hara parking lot. I don't drive so it would make more sense if the tour company could arrange for that service too? If that's possible?
