Visit the southern most city of the world in the charming Ushuaia
Tierra del Fuedo National Park is a majestic region covering 630km2 that sits right at the southern tip of Argentina. Filled with mountains, lakes, waterfalls, glaciers, forests and bordered by the ocean, it provides absolutely spectacular scenery.
You will be enjoying the renowned Senda Costera (coastal path) that connects Ensenda Bay to Lapataia Bay. Running about 8km, this path provides some of the most interesting vistas of the region.
During this hike there will be ample opportunity to observe the fascinating seabirds with their nesting sites and sea mammals going about their lives in this stunning wilderness.
Whilst on route you will encounter archaeological sites, famous conches and remnants of the ancient inhabitants of this region, the Yámanas. The Yámanas are coastal nomads that are almost entirely extinct now.
This area of coastal forest shows many tree species that are uncommon inland such as the Canelo and the Notro with their gorgeous flowerings.
After three or four hours of hiking we will arrive to the Rock Lake where we will have lunch at a prepared and comfortable site.
This is not rated as a difficult hike but a reasonable level of fitness, being able to maintain several hours of hiking is required.
If this beautiful excursion sounds like the kind of experience you would like to have then sign up now and I will show you the land of fire, a part of the world not many people get to see!
Alternatively consider this 1-day hike to Laguna Esmerelda less than 20km from Ushuaia for one of the most beautiful locations you could ever imagine. If you looking for something shorter then think about this half-day trip to the breath taking glacier Martial in Tierra del Fuego.

Due to events outside of our control, our trip has to be modified, Gabriel was very flexible and understanding. Together with the guide Manuel, we managed to create an amazing trip in this stunning environment. Both guides were thorough, friendly, knowledgeable about the trail, local floral and fauna and surrounding geography. An absolute must for anyone visiting ushuaia!

I came here at the end of Winter, so it was still snowing and the lake was unfortunately frozen with snow on top. However, the hike had amazing views with a very knowledgeable Guide. Pick up was on time and all information was given to me as needed. Highly recommend.

Since my Dad could not come due to illness I am hoping his tour price can be refunded. The tour was nice although the trail conditions were incredibly muddy and wet, which can’t be helped. But people should be warned about how wet and muddy it is. Gabriel and Félix were great and the views were spectacular! Thanks.
