Description

This 1-day hike to Monzino Hut (with via ferrata) is your chance to enjoy an exciting adventure to one of the best mountain huts in the entire Mont Blanc mountain range.

The Monzino hut (2580 m) is strategically located between the Brouillard and Freney basins, in one of the most beautiful areas of the Italian Alps. It has an incredible view of the South side of Mont Blanc and across the Val Veny to the hills of Courmayeur and upper Val d’Aosta.

To reach this wonderful refuge, I’ll pick you up early in the morning and we’ll take a transfer to Val Veny. The hike won’t be too technical. We’ll follow an easy path at the beginning until we reach a steep rock cliff. Here you’ll gear up with a harness and helmet to climb a 3 sections via ferrata tied to the guide.

The whole hiking and via ferrata adventure should take us around 5 to 6 hours with a total altitude gain of 1025 meters.
