Enjoy a 7 day hut to hut hike around the amazing Mount Watzman.
Spend a week admiring the beautiful Bavarian Alps of Germany.
Spend every night in a different, comfortable hut.
A fantastic way to explore the Bavarian Alps, this week long, hut to hut hike around Mount Watzman (2,713m) will provide you with views and an experience you will never forget.
The second highest mountain in Germany, Mount Watzman is a gorgeous peak. And on this trip, you will become very well acquainted with it. One of the biggest reasons for that is you will be spending your nights in different huts around the mountain. Each hut has its own personality and charm. They also present unique views, not just of Mount Watzman, but of the lovely landscape surrounding it, including a number of other peaks in the Bavarian Alps. And finally, several of the huts are near lovely lakes, so you can enjoy a swim before resting for the next day’s trek.
Our trek will begin in the village of Wimbachbrücke. A lovely place, well worth spending some time in, this village is just a few short hours away from the beautiful city of Munich. Hence making this trip very accessible. From the village, we will make our way into the Berchtesgaden National Park, where Mount Watzman is located.
We will be trekking for approximately5 hours every day of this hike. As a result, participants should be in good physical condition.
There is nothing quite like trekking around a beautiful mountain during the summer months. And on this week long expedition, you will get to do just that, as few mountains in Germany are as beautiful as Mount Watzman. So send me a request and come to Bavaria. The mountain awaits.
