Description

Are you fascinated by active volcanos, remote landscapes and splitboarding? We have the trip for you. A 10-day expedition to the Chigmit Mountains, an incredible spot for snow lovers and adventurers in the deep white wilderness of Alaska.

Located on the northeastern end of the Aleutian range, these peaks are full of unexplored slopes and descents that will make your splitboarding experience even more rewarding. And there are also active volcanos, as we said before, like the superb Mt. Iliamna (3,053 m) a glacier covered-stratovolcano that ‘exhales’ steam. You can also access Mt. Redoubt (3,108 m), the highest peak of the Aleutian range.

The background is not less impressive. You can admire glaciers (and even enjoy some snowboard descends on them), forests, and the most amazing wildlife, while you practice your favorite sport. And at nighttime, relax at our campsite to prepare for another day of pure splitboarding.

Even though the terrain is wide and open, the remote nature of these spots could be challenging. Therefore, you will need an extensive prior experience in splitboarding and a good physical condition to keep up with the program.

Does it sound good? It will look even better! Send us a request and we will make it happen.

Will was great wise and fun to spend the day with.

Phillip

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Lucie

All perfect

Amanda

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
