Discover the beauty of backcountry skiing on this spectacular course around Bell Lake Yurt, Montana. During these three days, you'll learn the basic tools to improve your mountain skills, while skiing in an incredible landscape.

On this 3-day course, we'll teach you backcountry skiing techniques, avalanche awareness and basic rescue strategies. We'll also review route selection, packing and gear tips and trip planning skills. This way, you'll be ready to tackle any mountain in the future!

This exciting adventure is open to beginners, to those looking to perfect their skills and those looking to have some fun, safely. Besides, you'll get to enjoy fresh, untracked powder snow on the most beautiful peaks in Montana. We'll be covering 2.6 miles and reaching an elevation of 1,600 feet, which is why it is important that you are physically prepared for the trip.

Make sure to bring or rent skins or a splitboard, an avalanche transciever, shovel and probe.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide.
