If you are looking for a different hiking experience this summer, Slovenia is a perfect option! Join me for a 5-day program.
Located in the Northwest of Slovenia, the Julian Alps are one of the most popular destinations for visitors to the country, with the focal point being the mighty Mt. Triglav, the highest point in the country at 2864m and also a national symbol of Slovenia.
In these 5 days, we will make various hiking tours to great natural spots around this area, on the Julian Alps and Triglav national park.
Highlights:
Slemenova Špica (1911m)
Mount Rombon (2208m)
Krn lakes (1391m)
Soca river
Booka Waterfalls
Vrata Valley
Triglav North Face
A particularly impressive day will be 2 and 3 days. In these 2 days I will take you to the top of Rombon from which there is a unique view of the Soča valley. I’ll guide you across the famous Soča River Trail, from the Soča source toward Bovec. A particularly interesting sight is that of the picturesque footbridges that cross the river at several points.
Along the hikes, we will see amazing landscapes of the Julian Alps, such as the peaks from Mala Mojstrovka to Jalovec and climbed to the summit of Rombon, which exceeds 2000 m above sea level.
Take a look at the itinerary below for a more detailed description of each day’s activities.

Dean was very helpful and responsive to our enquiries. He was enthusiastic and devoted to show the prettiest side of Tre Cime to us. Although we were a bit behind, Dean was patient to wait for us and cater to our speed. Great experience!!

Dean is an excellent guide. He\'s friendly and conscientious and throughout or trip was focused on getting us to achieve our hiking goals while being aware of our abilities and experience. We chose a relatively tough hike (8hrs, 1,700m elevation gain) but Dean made sure we completed it safely and at a good pace. He also took photos throughout so we could concentrate on the hiking and shared them with us later. He was also good company on the hike. I would thoroughly recommend his services.

We were looking for a hike suitable for 4 adults with reasonable experience in hiking.Dean not only crafted a 5 day activity for us but was also able to adjust for routes to fit our needs during the hike itself. Dean proved to be a great guide with both knowledge and an amazing attitude and was simply so much fun to be with, Dean also went \'the extra mile\' for us taking some of us to special activities which we did not plan for. If you are looking for hiking in Slovenia and getting an experience of a life time - I would highly recommend Dean. 5 starts all the way (And if there 6 he would get them as well :) ) Dean, thank you so much !

Dean was prompt and super knowledgeable about the area we were going to. He guided us safely to Slemenova Spica to enjoy the Julian Alps. As two girls from the city, we don\'t have much hiking experience, and he was patient and super helpful. We enjoyed our trip so much and it has been the highlight of our Slovenia trip. Thanks once again, Dean, for taking us on this experience!

Dean is a super experienced guide, he is very qualified to do all sorts of mountineering too if you are interested to try. I had a good time learning how to do snow shoeing and he is very patient in teaching me and assessing my abilities to suggest different routes which is suitable for my build and stamina. It was great and safe to have him as a guide because he knows the terrain well and that is good to know.
