Description

Join us for an evening hike around Mount Martial, following historic trails once used by lumberjacks a century ago. As the light fades, we’ll walk through the Fuegian forest with beautiful views over Ushuaia Bay and the surrounding mountains, enjoying the calm and unique atmosphere of nature at night.

The experience finishes in the best possible setting: a warm Mountain Dome in the forest, complete with a fireplace, where you’ll enjoy a regional dinner by the fire. It’s a different way to experience the “End of the World,” and one that always deserves a good toast.

This trail is ideal if you want an introduction to trekking without pushing too hard. With a short distance and low elevation gain, it suits anyone with normal fitness and no previous trekking experience—just come ready to breathe fresh air and connect with Tierra del Fuego’s wild landscapes.

Timing varies by season: from October to April, longer daylight hours mean hotel pick-up is usually between 6:00 and 7:00 pm, with dinner served around 8:30 pm. Between May and the end of June, days are shorter, so pick-up is around 4:00 pm and dinner is served around 7:00 pm.

Ready for a unique Ushuaia evening? Join the excursion and secure your spot for a hike-and-dinner experience you won’t forget!

What people are saying about Sebastian

    Agata

My guide, Micaela from Patagon agency was very knowledgeable and likeable. The three day trek covered everything from glacier and high mountains to the gentle walks in the forest and on the turf marshes. Gear, food and transfers were provided, we didn’t lack absolutely anything. I rarely hike with guides, but I thoroughly enjoyed this experience!

    Don

Sebastian was great to work with. He has deep experience in the region and guided me professionally for a fun, rewarding day on the Marital Glacier.

    Paolo

    Bill

We were very pleased with our guides, and our overall experience. We were contacted two days before our trip and the team was very helpful getting us prepared. Transportation was a snap. Our guides, Sebastian and Marine, were kind, helpful, engaging and knowledgeable.

    Mitch

Sebastian was a great guide! We felt very safe and it was really fun getting to know him. We liked him so much we decided we would do a second trip while we are in town. If I ever come back to Ushuaia, I will definitely track him down for more trips
