Description

Discover a via ferrata and hiking paradise in the heart of the Dolomites. Join me on this 6 days journey across some of the most breathtaking places in Monte Civetta (3,220 m).

Monte Civetta is one of the symbols of the Dolomites, as it is one of the most prominent and major peaks of this range. It lies within the Province of Belluno in the north of Italy. And the best place to view its majestic north-west face is from the Taibon Agordino valley.

Six days might just be enough to explore this fantastic place. But I will make sure we visit the most wonderful spots every day. Also, this trip is private. Therefore the itinerary will be crafted specially for you and your group. And I will follow you throughout the trip to make sure you’re safe and having the best time.

This trip combines some of the best via ferratas in the Dolomites, with marvellous paths to hike through. Furthermore, we will be staying at the most enchanting mountain huts, such as Torrani, Carestiato, Pramperet and Pian de Fontana.

Please note participants should have an excellent fitness levels, as some of these via ferratas are difficult. Plus, take into consideration the amount of time we’ll be hiking everyday.

So if you are in shape and want to join this trip, don’t hesitate and request to book this trip today.

Mountain Guide

I started my career as an aerospace engineer, my first passion and then became a full-time IFMGA mountain guide, my second passion, since 2013. Working as a mountain guide gratifies me a lot. I enjoy very much transmitting my knowledge about the mountains and its activities to my friends and clients.

I’m based in the Dolomites where I have climbed most of the mountain surroundings us here, including “Via attraverso il Pesce” in Marmolada and “Captain sky-hook” in Civetta. I also enjoy a lot guiding in the rest of the Alps, ice climbing, ski touring, freeride skiing, rock climbing and mountaineering.

Feel free to contact me if you want to live a great adventure in the Dolomites or anywhere else in the Alps, during the winter or the summer. It will be a great pleasure for me to guide you and allow you to reach your goal. I work with other mountain guides in the Veneto area, such as Filippo, Massimo, and my brother Daniele. If I am unavailable on the date you are interested in coming climbing, skiing, or engaging in other activities with me, I can connect you with one of them.

3 stars Marmolada is due to weatherconditions. Lack of new snow. Enrico found good snow in parts of the glacier. 5 stars to him. Before we went up to the glacier, Enrico took us for a testride offpiste to see if we would be able to ski difficult conditions. Very good.

To be honest we are very disappointed. We signed up for the day of free ride on Marmolada but Enrico wisely said the snow conditions were not conducive for doing that. He offered to do other activities (specifically ski touring) but that is not what we paid for or signed up for, and did not want to do that. Since he offered “alternative activities” it appears we lose 100% of the cost per Explore-Share policy. This is extremely unfair. Enrico seemed like a good guy and probably a very good guide, but I would NOT recommend Explore Share to anyone! Terrible experience for an expensive day.

Geremia was great to have for my first time ice climbing. He went over all the basics and gave me tips on my climbing that really helped out. All of this in a beautiful location! Highly recommended!

Enrico was extremely knowledgeable of the area and was able to put us in great snow despite the lack of snowfall over the past few weeks. Wonderful day!
