Backcountry Skiing Course on Washington Pass and Mount Baker (4 days)

Remote, wild, thrilling and beautiful, Washington Pass is a sensational place to ski. So is Mount Baker (3,286m). And on this 4 day ski touring expedition, you will be able to enjoy memorable descents on both of those places.

Both the Washington Pass and Mount Baker are located in the North Cascades in the state of Washington. Due to the ample amounts of snow that fall in the region, they are difficult to reach. However, once you reach these wonderful spots, you will be glad you did, because the ski touring is phenomenal!

There is no strict itinerary on this trip. That is because the North Cascades during the winter can be very unpredictable. As a result, our progress and day to day experiences will be heavily dictated by weather and snow conditions. And, if things go our way, you will get to cap off the expedition with a thrilling, unforgettable descent of Mount Baker.

Due to the rugged and arduous terrain of the North Cascades it is important that participants on this trip have prior ski touring experience. You should also be in good physical condition as well.
