Description
Take some time off and escape into the wilderness around Leavenworth in exceptionally beautiful Washington State!
Join one of our certified guides for a satisfying day of ski touring through the lovely scenery in this nook of the eastern Cascade Mountains.
We will spend the day skiing around Icicle Creek Canyon, which is mostly known for its rock climbing walls, but also offers some excellent, and less traveled, ski touring conditions as well.
Over the course of the day, we will head up to Point 7600′, which is a subsidiary of Mount Cashmere, and enjoy some excellent runs in pristine powder.
After that, we will head over and ski the popular Canyon Mountain couloir. This spot is likely to have a bit of traffic, but the rest of the day we’re unlikely to see many other skiers.
This is perfect because it means we’ll get plenty of untouched snow all to ourselves. Icicle Creek Canyon is known for accumulating snow during the winter. While the resorts in town may only have a few inches, we’ll have more than a foot!
