Description

Summit and ski one of the most iconic mountains in all of Washington State!

Over the course of two days, we will make it to the top of Mount Adams, enjoying views of the surroundings, including some of the best views there are of Mt St Helens.

Then, we will spend the rest of our time skiing the variety of different terrains on any one of the mountain’s numerous slopes.

However, our trip begins by meeting up at a nearby location in order to check that your equipment is up to par and that we are ready to go. We often meet at Trout Lake, but will be able to determine our exact location after booking is complete.

Keep in mind when you are arriving that Portland, Oregon’s international airport is closer to Mount Adams than the one is Seattle is.

After meeting up, we will head out to the foot of the mountain and climb up a bit before setting up camp and doing a bit of lower-elevation skiing.

We then wake up early the next morning and make our way up to the summit. The route that we take will largely depend on your experience and the climate conditions.

After reaching the top at mid-morning, we will begin the highlight of the trip: skiing back down!

Mount Adams boasts various different routes back down. Due to its height and the changing conditions, various parts of the mountain offer way different skiing experiences.

Again, depending on your experience and the climate conditions, we will either ski down via the Southwest Chutes or South Ski Ridge.

So what are you waiting for? Book now for your next epic 2-day skiing adventure on the slopes of Mount Adams in stunning Washington State!

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!

Nate was very knowledgeable and got me to the top of mountain. He’s not as engaging as most of the guides I’ve had over the years. I’ve learned a lot about most of my climbs as guides talk about the mountain and the area maybe even plant and animals and I enjoy getting to know them better. We did talk a bit more on the way out of the trailhead. All in all a good experience. But not sure your company told him I had a knee replacement and would be slow.
