Bell Lake Yurt is a backcountry skiing and snowboarding center located in the Tobacco Root Mountains, Montana.If you love riding in backcountry terrains, this 1-day avalanche rescue course in Bell Lake Yurt is ideal for you.
The purpose of the course is to provide you with all the necessary information and skills to enjoy riding through untracked snow with safety. Some of the contents of this trip include learning how to use a transceiver and a shovel, as well as survival strategies. Also, you will learn to search for buried victims and have an introduction to different useful tools.
Once you have done the course, you will feel more prepared and know how to react if an avalanche occurs. This knowledge is vital for the experience of a backcountry skier or snowboarder.
To take part of this course, it is a requirement to have previous experience in snow activities. It is also important to have a very good physical condition.
