On this program, we’ll hike all around Lago Moreno, a route that is called the “Circuito Chico Road“. This trail connects several easy and breathtaking hiking paths and allows us to discover the gorgeous Nahuel Huapi and Moreno lakes, two of the highlights in Bariloche. Also, we’ll have the pleasure to go across a typical northern Patagonian forest and discover its beautiful flora and fauna, including the popular and iconic Arrayanes trees.
The precise itinerary will be arranged according to the participants’ expectations and desires. There are plenty of trail combinations that we can do on this trip. Plus, it’s open to everyone!
Keep in mind that a car is needed to to reach the starting point of this trip. We’ll also need a car to access the different sections of the Circuito Chico throughout the day. You are welcome to use your own car or travel in mine.

Mountain Leader
Hi! My name is Ignacio Manes. Through my whole life I've worked with groups in different areas: from university teaching to mountain guiding, as a passionate mountain climber and professional guide. In this field, I've visited high summits in Mendoza and Chile, and large areas in Patagonia where I actually live with my family. As a nature lover and it's sports, I constantly explore and visit it with friends and groups which normally comes from big cities.
I'm a trekking guide who wants to take people to the self recognition space the nature offers us. OUR space. I'm convinced that our greatest happiness lays inside us, really close, waiting for a instant of peace to be discovered.

Ignacio is an amazing guide. We all enjoyed the hikes, learning about the history of Bariloche, and even experiencing mate culture. Ignacio is super knowledgeable about all things Bariloche, and answered all kinds of questions about our food needs, airport transfers, and more. We loved every minute we spent with Ignacio, and can’t wait to go back to Bariloche and join him on more adventures!!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
