4 Days

Description

I invite you to a 4-day hiking trip to Cerro Bauchazeta (5200 m). This is a mountain of the Central Andes, lying in the province of San Juan, in the western part of Argentina.

The starting point of this trip is the city of Bella Vista. Then, after 28 km of driving we are ready for our expedition.

The first part is an 11 kilometer hiking, ascending from 2500 to 3800 meters over sea level. During the trip, we are going to spend the night in two different base camps.

From our last base camp, we have 12 km of trekking to the peak.

Bauchazeta is probably one of the easier 5000 meters where I have been. Its also the one with the best view and landscape, because there’s a nice brook and we are really into the Andes.

Please contact me if you want more information about this trip. I will be happy to be your guide there.

Mountain Leader

I'm EGMSJ Guide and San Guillermo National Park Guide, from San Juan, Argentina.
I have WFR and Sesvi 4x4 certified.

I’ve been doing rock climbing and mountaineering for more than 15 years, here in Cordillera de los Andes mostly and in other places like Patagonia, Australia, New Zealand, Chile.

I love the idea of verticality and how to find the horizontality on this plane.

So, if you like hiking, rock climbing or mountaineering and you are thinking for a new place in Cordillera de los Andes, I can show you some beautiful places. :)

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
