Climate: Bariloche has high mountain weather with little annual thermal amplitude but a high daily temperature range. Temperatures in summer usually reach to 35°C during the day and can drop to a few degrees below 0. Wetness enters from the west, from the Pacific Ocean, crossing the western mountain range and discharging its waters in the eastern Cordillera. In summer months rainfall can reach between 20 and 30 mm per month. Therefore, climatic conditions are a determining factor of risk in outdoor activities.
AAGM guides: For expeditions of this level, it is essential to have certified guides AAGM (Argentina Association of Mountain Guides).
I am a mountain guide certified by the EPGAMT (Provincial School of High Mountain and Trekking guides) since 2009. I am also a certified coach and physical education teacher.
I have guided in mountains such as the Aconcagua, Plata, Vallecitos, Pissis Volcano, Lanin Volcano, Domuyo Volcano. I also guide in traverse of low and high complexity in Nahuel Huapi National Park, and the traverse in Continental Ice (The Chaltén).
As a prefered activity I like to do ski touring. Some excursions are: Tronador Mount, Lanin Volcano, Osorno Volcano and Puntiagudo in Chile, traverse from Frey refuge to Jakob refuge, among others.
What I enjoy most of being a guide is to lead people to discover beautiful and unique places, where you can only arrive with effort and dedication. The mountain allows you to get to know yourself and it also teaches some values that in other environments are difficult to observe.
