1 Day

The hike to Laguna Negra will be very intensive and challenging, with big amounts of snow everywhere you look. Our expedition will start in the small town of Colonia Suiza in the province of Bariloche and it will take us the entire day.

Laguna Negra is located within the Nahuel Huapi National Park, in the Cordillera de los Andes, Argentina at 1.650 meters above sea level. More precisely, it is at the foot of the hill Cerro Negro and Cerro Bailey Willis.

From there you can also see the Gordo, Marino and Manolo hills. Except for an area of rocky beach on the west bank, and some areas near the refuge on the east coast, Laguna Negra is surrounded by vertical rock walls which gives it a unique beauty.
