Les Gorges du Verdon advanced rock climbing tour

Les Gorges du Verdon is a beautiful river canyon located in South-Eastern France. It is about 25 kilometres long and up to 700 meters deep. Its limestone walls attract many adventure lovers. In this tour I want to take you to the most impressive routes for advanced rock climbers.

This is one of the classic climbing areas in Europe.  It offers over 1,500 routes ranging from 100 to 400 meters high and encompassing cracks, pillars and steep endless walls.

The blue-gray, orange and yellow walls of Les Gorges du Verdon host excellent bolted sport routes as well as traditional climbs. We are going straight to my favourite routes for advanced climbers.

“Dalle grise”, a beautiful gray and carved limestone, “Atout coeur”, with an impressive view, or “Les marches du temps”, a challenging 100% vertical wall, are some of the routes that we can head up.
