Mitschabel 7-day mountain expedition in the Alps

Description
The Canton of Valais, located in Southeastern Switzerland, has the highest concentration of "four-thousanders" of the Alps (about 50 peaks). In addition, here we will find some of the most famous mountains of the world, such as Monte Cervino or Matterhorn.
But today I'd like to invite you to other important mountain of this region: the Dom of Mitschabel (4,545m). It's the highest summit in Switzerland. During this 7-day program we will move by the Mitschabel massif, between the Saas and Matter valleys, a prestigious geographical location.
It will be a trip of pure adventure, starting from Saas Grund. Then we will ascend by the cable car Klein Mattherhorn for a first approach to the Val Di Ayas hut. We will continue discovering the most incredible peaks of the Dom of Mitschabel until our return by day 7.
If you want to be part of this mountain expedition you should have a good fitness condition. Some basic techniques will be also necessary. Keep in mind that we must use technical gear such as harness, safety carabiners, crampons and ice ax. It is essential that you know how to handle them in height.

The price does not include: transportation, accommodation in the hut (personal and guide's), cable cars tickets (Saas Grund lodges often offer free ski passes or big discounts for ski lifts), meals, personal gear.
Itinerary
Day 0: Saas Grund
Travel to Saas Grund and overnight at the Bergfreund Hotel.
Day 1: Val Di Ayas hut
Today we will take the cable car Klein Matterhorn (3883 m), the highest in Europe. Approach to the Val Di Ayas Champoluc Hut at 3400 meters (4 walking hours).
Day 2: The Castor
We’ll ascend to the Castor at 4223 meters of height. It will be 8 hours in total, with a distance of 8 km and an altitude change of 1200 meters.
Day 3: Täsch Hut
On day 3 we’ll reach the Täsch Hütte at 2700 meters. We have 2 approaching options:
From Täsch (1450 m). It takes 4,5 hours with an elevation gain of 1200 meters.
From Täschalp (2200 m). 500 meters of elevation gain and 2 walking hours.
Day 4: Alphubel
We’ll climb Alphubel, at 4206 meters of height. Hiking time: 7-8 hours. Altitude change: 1500 meters.
Day 5: Dom Hütte
On day 5 we’ll move to Randa and from there we’ll walk to the Dom hut (1600 meters of elevation gain)
Day 6: The Dom (4545 m)
Time to reach the Dom by its normal route or, if conditions allow, by the Festi edge. Descent back to Randa where we’ll spend the night.
Day 7: Extra day
Extra day in case of bad weather.
About the guide

Mountain Guide
Fede was born in1983 in the Basque Country, northern Spain, where he started climbing and visiting the Pyrenees. After studying Business Management, he finally moved to the Pyrenees to be closer to his passion.
Fede has been working for more than 13 years in the outdoors industry, as a Ski Patrol and AEGM Mountain Guide, Canyon Guide and Ski Instructor.
Nowadays, he is a full-time IFMGA Mountain Guide, sharing with his clients all sorts of activities in the Pyrenees, the Alps, Canada, Norway, Morroco, Peru, and others.
He has lived in both Canada and France, so he will have no trouble in speaking French, English or Italian.
Apart from his private trips with his clients, he also works for several well recognized companies, for the filming industry and writes for specialized magazines, for example:
