Description

Situated in the heart of the Alps – along the French and Italian border – Chamonix has long been a destination for avid rock climbing enthusiasts.

Boasting innumerable different day trips within easy reach of the iconic resort town, there are plenty of fantastic sport climbing routes available for participants of every level.

After meeting up in the morning at a predetermined location, the fun begins! We will make our approach to the crags up which we plan to climb and start climbing.

For beginners, the day begins with some instruction about all of the gear and how to use it. We then go over the basics of sport climbing and make some ascents.

For more advanced beginners, we will also go over how to belay, top rope and lead climbing, various climbing techniques and some alpine basics (i.e. abseiling and how to build a belay).

For intermediate and advanced climbers, there is no need for any tutorials and we can just hit the rocks and climb together.

Regardless of where we go or what we do, expect phenomenal views at every turn. And the farther up we climb, the better they get, so be sure to bring your sense of adventure with us out onto the rocks.

Mountain Guide

Born in the Austrian Alps, the connection to the mountains was there from early on. Started skiing as a 3 year old kid, bit later climbing and mountaineering stepped in my live. Skiing and climbing all over the Alps and abroad became a huge part of my life.

One of my favorite places in the Alps are the mountains around Chamonix and Zermatt. Since graduating as a fully-certified Mountain guide, I’ve been able to share my passion for skiing and climbing with my guests. When I’m not guiding I try to push my personal limits in climbing and mountaineering. Looking forward reaching summits together.

I used to go with guids more then 5 years and Daniel as a guide was absolutely perfect person! I would say he is pro and knows what to do! He is very smart, listens and feels the client, helps with equipment! And in general very nice person! ——— Just only questions to provider who is organizing the trip. First of all is not a trip 2 days . This is trip of one day. As we meet at 6 PM and spent the time next 18-24 hours . Second one you have to mention in the description that Hutte should be pay separate (this +300CHF more). The third one the price in 30% higher then you book directly in Zermat. In any way thanks to My manager for flexibility the dates.

Daniel is a very professional guide, knows the Grossglockner area well and is a fun and social teammember thanks for bringing us to the top!!

This weekend i went with Daniel to the Grossglockner via the normal route and the experience was perfect. Everything was arranged and felt safe the whole trip. i would reccomend Daniel to everyone who wants to climb some mountains in the alps.
