Description

Join me for a climbing trip in Mont Blanc Massif, Chamonix. Explore all the different options, from learning to make a knot to doing a training program, or just having fun on the wall, block, cliff.

The Mont Blanc Massif is one of the most beautiful places in Europe for rock climbing: legendary peaks, as well as legendary mountaineers and breathtaking landscapes!

We can leave together for one or more days. You can choose if you want to climb for an hour, a day, a weekend or for a training period.

Here are some suggestions:

On block

The game consists of making “extreme” passages each in their own level; certainly the best school to learn to climb to obtain a broad gestural repertoire. No rope, just climbing, a good parade and a crash pad.

On wall

The indispensable tool to progress is mixing this with outdoor climbing.

The cliff

France has a large number of spots; from 30 to 300 meters and mainly limestone. In Bourgogne, in the South, Vercors, Drome and the Alps.

In the mountains

Equipped with friends and clutches, the welfare to climb the granite cracks; mainly on Chamonix but Oisans is not excluded!

  • Around the Envers des Aiguille refuges, on the Tour Ronde, Aiguille de Roc, or the very vertical South face of the Fou.

  • In the Vallée Blanche area, the Aiguille du Midi, the Pointe Lachenal and especially the Grand Capucin with 400 m of exceptional granite.

  • On medium mountain, at Peigne, Flammes de Pierres, west face of Blaitière and Aiguilles Rouges.

  • But also in Oisans, Ailefroide, on Dibona and the Vanoise and Beaufortain in Bazel, Ruitor, Pierra Menta.

My daily guiding fee is as from 380€. For half day, I ask 240€. The number of participants with me will depend on what you want to do and the level you have.

I invite you to contact me, we can discuss your project, your wishes… and leave together for an experience! The number of people on the rope will depend on the program.

Mountain Guide

I have been a mountain guide since 1996, climbing instructor, mountain bike instructor and snowboard instructor 1° SSBS.
I live in Chamonix and I spend most of my time there in the summer and winter. The rest of the time, I am traveling …
In summer, I spend my time on granite walls that I particularly like. In winter, I do a lot of off-piste skiing, ski touring, and snowboarding/splitboarding… off-piste of course! I try to improve in splitboard and freeride snowboarding in the Mont Blanc massif.
I have had the chance to take some beautiful trips such as to Nepal, United States, Algeria, Morocco, Spitsbergen, Indonesia, Santo Domingo, Majorca, India, Thailand, Tajikistan, Iran, Greenland, Albania and Kosovo. I try to travel to a different place every year.
Please contact me if you are near Chamonix and want to see what happens up there. It will be a pleasure for me to be your guide in this adventure!

Romain was a great guide in planning and leading the climbs. He was safe, supportive and did not rush so I could enjoy the climbing. Best of all he took some incredible photos in some precarious positions!
