Julian Alps

3 Days

Jun - Sep

* Enjoy the stunning scenery of Triglav National Park.

* Discover some of the most beautiful alpine lakes in all of the Julian Alps.

* Get the chance to see local flora and historic monuments as we hike.

Situated in the stunning northwest of Slovenia, Triglav National Park boasts numerous mountain trails that are perfect for a wide variety of hiking.

With well-worn paths that pass by glaciated mountain peaks, verdant coniferous forests, rushing waterfalls, deep valleys and gorges as well as pristine alpine lakes, there are plenty of incredible options awaiting us.

Our adventure begins in the Soča Valley or at another pre-determined meeting point. From here, we will start hiking along the trail in Trenta (624m) up to the hut on Prehodavci (2,071m), before descending down into the valley that contains the Triglav lakes.

The following day, we will hike on to Komna and then continue over the Bogatinsky saddle. From here, we descend toward the Krn Lakes Home, passing the remnants of various World War I-era buildings along the way.

On the final day, we hike up toward Krn Lake and enjoy some marvelous views along the way, before continuing on to to Lepena, where our trip will end and we will say our goodbyes.

So what are you waiting for? Book now for this scenic and exciting 3-day hiking tour through the sublimely beautiful lakes district of Triglav National Park!
