  • Enjoy a varied 2-day alpine experience that includes a via ferrata approach to the Mischabelhütte.

Description

Rising to 4,327 meters in the Mischabel Chain of the Pennine Alps, the Nadelhorn is one of the classic high-altitude summits above the Saas-Fee Valley. With its elegant pyramidal shape, sharp ridges, icy north face, and impressive position among some of Switzerland’s highest peaks, it offers a rewarding objective for climbers looking for a technical but accessible alpine ascent.

This 2-day private mountaineering trip combines several elements that make the Nadelhorn especially memorable: the quiet atmosphere of the route, the beautiful shape of the peak, and a climb that is technical yet reasonably easy for participants with previous mountain experience.

The program begins in Saas-Fee or Saas-Grund, followed by the approach to the Mischabelhütte. This approach includes an interesting 2.5-hour via ferrata section, adding variety and a sense of adventure from the very first day. On the second day, you will climb the Nadelgrat, a beautiful snowy and rocky ridge leading to the summit of the Nadelhorn, before descending back to Saas-Fee.

This is a private guided ascent for up to 2 participants. It is suitable for climbers with some previous mountaineering experience, especially moving with crampons on mixed terrain. Send a request to Pere to plan your Nadelhorn ascent in the Saas-Fee area.

Elena

Pera was great at communicating with me prior and during our climbing day. He chose the perfect location for the climbing goals and weather conditions and made sure I was always safe. I would definitely choose to climb with him again in the Swiss Alps or anywhere else!

Pere showed us the most amazing experience. It was my first time climbing outdoors, and first time climbing multi pitch. Pere was calm and super knowledgeable. He put us on a great route and gave us an experience that I truly will never forget. Thank you Pere!

A great day traversing the Drus from the Charpoua hut. No one on the route that day except us. The weather proved excellent. Perfect guiding and very secure climbing with Pere !
