The Cuillin Ridge is an infamous mountain range in Scotland, and is a perfect location for traversing and climbing adventures. The main ridge runs roughly 12 kilometers in length with rough peaks that make for a complex scrambling network.
There are 11 ¨Munros,¨ or mountains exceeding 914 meters, on Cuillin Ridge, all with accessible peaks to dedicated climbers.
Many trekkers try to reach the top of as many Munros as possible, so this traverse gives you the chance to cross off multiple summits while having the time of your life.
Our adventure allows for three days to make it through Cuillin, with route and trip variations depending on the circumstances of the trek. We will pick the best two days to complete the full traverse, with an overnight bivy on the ridge.
If we should traverse the ridge early, then one of the days will be a day of rest. If the weather is detrimental to our course, we will spend three full days out on the ridge.
This is a relatively difficult journey, with no guarantee that we will complete the route. You should have experience scrambling and be in good physical condition for the best chance of success.
We will err on the side of caution in compromising situations.
Book now and traverse with me through the daunting Cuillin Ridge – I will give you an experience unlike any other in the world!
I can also take you out on a 5-day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge! And I have a great program trekking up Ben Nevis!

Mountain Guide
We are a small guiding company based in Fort William, Scotland, at the foot of Ben Nevis. We specialize in tailor-made courses and guiding for individuals and small groups across the Scottish Highlands, focusing on quality and a personalised approach rather than a one-size-fits-all model.
Founded by Scott Kirkhope—an outdoor professional with 20 years’ experience—we evolved from his earlier venture, Kirkhope Mountaineering (est. 2016). Scott holds the Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor (WMCI) qualification, is a member and Development Officer of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors, and is also a qualified mountain bike leader and coach.
We work with qualified and insured freelance guides, occasionally including trainees (with prior notice), and prioritise customer-focused, high-quality mountain adventures.
We also support the local Lochaber community through environmental and recreational initiatives, having contributed to local climbing, trail, wheeled sports, and conservation projects.

Scott was a fantastic guide. We (myself and my 17 year old son) felt 100% safe at all times. Unfortunately, due to the v high winds, we weren’t able to summit Ben Nevis - however, Scott ensured that we had a great day hiking & climbing around Ben Nevis. We will definitely return to summit Ben Nevis in the Winter - and we’ll definitely go with Scott as our guide.

The guide was Hannah in fact and she was the best, it was a great day and Hannah was brilliant.. I would never have chosen the Pap honestly speaking, however, Hannah did the review also asked a bunch of questions and watched how we did at the beginning so she was confident that it was the right hike for us, and it really was. Please give her a big thanks and to you also for a great experience, the break in the weather really helped as well
