Come with me on this 4-day ski tour adventure in Berner Oberland! This small but yet beautiful region located in Western Switzerland is every ski lover's dream!
In this winter paradise, we can find several fantastic peaks, including the powerful Finsteraarhornhut that rises 3048 meters above the sea. Also, skiers will find one of the largest glaciers in Switzerland, the great Aletsch Glacier (Aletschgletscher), which has a length of about 23 kilometres.
Our meeting point will be in the charming village of Grindelwald (1013 meters) where we will take a train and travel to one of the main peaks in the Bernese Alps, Jungfraujoch (3464 meters). Famous for having the highest rail station in Europe, Jungfraujoch will definitely be one of this trip's highlights!
From here, we will have several options to choose. We may ski down the great Aletsch Glacier for example, or continue down the Trugberg mountain (3993 meters) all the way down to the Konkordia hut, located at 2850 meters. As it will be our first day, we will only be skiing a total amount of 2-3 hours.
During the next three days we will be spending between 5-7 hrs. skiing up and down the amazing mountains that surround us. You will find a more detailed itinerary below!
Although this trip may be less demanding than other ski programs in the Bernese Alps, all participants must be skilled skiers (PSIA level 8) and be in great physical condition.
In case you are looking for a more demanding ski tour, you can also join me on this 7-day Berner Oberland ski tour (advanced).

This was a great trip and Explore Share made finding the right trip super easy. Our guide was personable, extremely knowledgeable, and experienced and willing to teach us the skills we would have needed to climb the Matterhorn. Unfortunatly, the conditions were not right to climb so our guide recemmended another trip which was still a great experience and lots of fun.

Very user friendly platform with timely responses from Explore Share representatives. The trip itself with Tom from Alps Adventures was awesome and ensure that we had an experience that was 100% what we wanted. Recommend both the platform and the guide. Thanks to all for arranging and delivering so well.

I had am amazing time during the 1-day off-piste training course at Hoch-Ybrig. Urs, our main mountain guide, was very helpful in answering my queries before the course, and Lupe from explore-share was helpful in selecting the course. We had 3 groups under Urs, Mario and Patrick, and I was in the group with Patrick. He gave us a lot of nice tips and individualized video analysis. He made a special effort to convey everything in English, since I don't know German. All the participants were very helpful and friendly too! The course is good value for money as skis are included for the weekend in the course price.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
