Description

Mount Kenya is the second highest mountain in Africa after Mount Kilimanjaro. It is, indeed, the highest in Kenya.

Actually, it’s a massif with three different peaks. Batian at 5199 m, Nelion at 5188 m and Lenana Peak at 4985. This last one is slightly apart from the other summits.

Whereas climbing Batian and Nelion requires some technical expertise, reaching Lenana Peak summit does not involve any difficulties. Because of this, I recommend this peak for this trip.

This is a 9-day journey which involves trekking and climbing in one of the most wonderful destinations in Africa.

For further details regarding this unique adventure, you can find the complete program below.

In addition to this, you can extend this trip by mixing it with a 3-day safari in Masai Mara Reserve, one of the most spectacular natural spots in the continent.

Please get in touch with me if you want to experience this ascent to Lenana Peak on Mount Kenia. You will enjoy some breathtaking views from the summit! It will be my pleasure to guide you there.

By the way, you can take a look at other exciting climbing trips, like this one right to the top of Mount Elbrus.
