And on this 2 day, weekend adventure, you will get to enjoy plenty of bouldering in the beautiful Fontainebleau forest.
Fontainebleau is located less than an hour away from Paris. As a result, this trip makes for a great, convenient addition to your vacation in the French capital. It will add some outdoor variety to your trip. Thus giving you a chance to get a more expansive taste of what France has to offer.

I'm alone, can I join a bouldering group?

Do you have recommendations for where to stay near Fontainebleau for the bouldering tour?
For an overnight stay, I recommend searching for accommodations between Fontainebleau and Bois-le-Roi. This stretch offers a good selection of hotels and Airbnb options close to the bouldering areas. If you’re traveling from Paris, remember that it’s only a 30-minute train ride to Fontainebleau, so day trips is also a convenient alternative.
