Description

Get ready to explore the beautiful path that goes to the impressive Laguna de los Témpanos and Vinciguerra Glacier in Ushuaia, Argentina. This is the perfect trip for those looking for a longer and rewarding hike in and incredible setting. Follow me!

The Vinciguerra glacier is one of the largest in Tierra del Fuego, and the hike there is stunning. First, we’ll set off on a path that has peatlands, melt-water rivers, sub-antarctic woods and also features views of the breathtaking Fuegian mountains. Finally, once we pass the forests, we’ll get to the Los Témpanos lagoon, the glacier and some amazing ice caves!

This incredible circular route covers 12 kilometers in approximately 7 hours. Therefore, I recommend participants to be in a good physical shape. Additionally, take into consideration that we’ll also have an elevation gain of 633 meters.

Would you like to discover the stunning lagoons and glaciers of Tierra del Fuego? Then book your trip now and let me take care of all the details. I would love to take you to this stunning place at the very south of Argentina!

Mountain Guide

Mountaineering is part of my life since I was a child. I'm from Ushuaia and now I'm leaving in El Chalten, two of the most beautiful places in Patagonia for hiking, skiing, climbing and feeling the strong and pristine Patagonian nature.

I started guiding in 2014 and it has turned a way of leaving. I have worked in many areas of the Andes Range, from the low and sharp mountains in Ushuaia until the high mountain in the Real Range (Bolivia), and many trekking and mountains in North Patagonia Area (Bariloche) and Central Andes (Mendoza). Now in El Chalten I guide many beautiful trekking in the area. I guide the treks in Los Glaciares National Park under license of Zeta Trek.

I'm also an experimented climber and a certificated climbing monitor FASA (Argentinian Federation of Skiing and Andinism). And I'm studying Waldorf Pedagogy oriented to physical activity.

Please get in touch with me if you wish to be guided in South Patagonia this summer! or to organize a beautiful adventure in the Andes whenever you feel it's the moment to experiment something new.

Lilen was a fantastic guide for our group. She educated us during our trek on the native plants, wildlife, surrounding geology and mountain topography. Shared amazing stories of people she has met, additional day hiking options in the area, and attempted to help improve our Spanish vocabulary. She did this all while making sure the actual trek was safe, enjoyable and not too strenuous. At times it felt just like we were hiking with a friend that we had total trust in rather than a stranger leading us through a majestic 4 day trek through the Andes. In all we had a blast and loved the entire experience. Thanks Lilen.
