Jan - Apr, Oct - Dec

* Spend a full day trekking through beautiful Argentine Patagonia.

* Cross through forest and glaciers until you reach the Paso del Cuadrado.

* Enjoy the beautiful El Chalten area before and after the trek.

For a full day, I would like to guide you on a trekking adventure that will take you to the Paso del Cuadrado. This beautiful place, located in the Andes of Argentinean Patagonia, will leave you breathless.

Our journey will begin at El Chalten. From there, we will take a transfer for approximately 18 kilometers to the Puente del Rio Electrico. After that, we will hike through gorgeous scenery for about 2 hours to the Piedra del Fraile refuge. During this trek you will see everything from lush forest and wild birds, to exhilarating valleys and peaks like Mount Fitz Roy (3,359m).

Our journey will then take us to Piedra Negra. From there, we will start elevating. Thus giving you the chance to admire the Electric valley below. Later on, we will cross a glacier before reaching the Paso del Cuadrado. Once there, you will get to enjoy some of the most incredible views in the world. Afterwards, we will make our way down to the Piedra del Fraile, where you can enjoy some rest and hot food, before we return to El Chalten.

This trip is very demanding. As a result, participants should have prior trekking experience. You should also be in good physical condition as well.

This adventure from El Chalten to the Paso del Cuadrado will show you why Argentine Patagonia is so renowned. To be a part of this adventure, just send me a request.

I also offer a 2 day journey from El Chalten that will take you to the Paso de Guillaumet.

Easy to set up and find the perfect trip. Informative site that is easy to use. Guides are all great to work with and communicate all arrangements needed. As simple as can be!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
