Type of Trip
Join me for 3 to 5 hours of via ferrata on the “Ferrata degli alpini” in Col dei Bos close to Cortina in the Dolomites, my home region.
The via ferrata was built by alpine military corp on the Mount “Col dei Bos” which has a beautiful pyramid shape. It is easy and accessible, only the beginning and the end of the ferrata is a little bit more difficult.
The total positive altitude gain is 400 meters.
We can reach it very fast from the parking which makes it convenient.
I like to recommend it because :
- It’s nice and easy, so perfect for beginners;
- We can go even when the weather is not very good;
- It’s possible to go there together with children and families;
- There are various possibilities to bypass the difficult parts.
Please get in touch with me if you plan to come to the Dolomites, in the area of Cortina and if you would like to have a nice time on a beautiful mountain together with a local IFMGA mountain guide. You’ll be safe, have fun and enjoy beautiful views on the surroundings.
If you are looking for alternatives, I recommend you to look at these other via ferrata that I propose in the same region (Cortina d’Ampezzo area):

About the Guide
I started my career as an aerospace engineer, my first passion and then became a full-time IFMGA mountain guide, my second passion, since 2013. Working as a mountain guide gratifies me a lot. I enjoy very much transmitting my knowledge about the mountains and its activities to my friends and clients. I’m based in the Dolomites where I have climbed most of the mountain surroundings us here, including “Via attraverso il Pesce” in Marmolada and “Captain sky-hook” in Civetta. I also enjoy a lot guiding in the rest of the Alps, ice climbing, ski touring, freeride skiing, rock climbing and mountaineering. Feel free to contact me if you want to live a great adventure in the Dolomites or anywhere else in the Alps, during the winter or the summer. It will be a great pleasure for me to guide you and allow you to reach your goal.
