Description
Situated just to the north of Ushuaia, nestled into the Carbajal Valley, Glaciar Vinciguerra is the perfect destination for an exemplary 1-day trekking experience!
After picking you up from your accommodations at 9 am, the fun begins! We will transfer to the trailhead via the Andorra tram and by 10 am, we will be out into the wilderness.
As we spend the morning making our way to the glacier, passing through a peat bog, Fuegian forest and by mountain lagoons en route to the glacier.
Once we have arrived at the base of the glacier, we will have spend an hour eating lunch and enjoying stunning views of this behemoth ice sheet, which reaches up to 800 meters (2,600 feet) thick in some parts.
We will also have the chance to explore some nearby ice caves too, before we begin to hike back out of the valley and toward the trailhead, at which we will arrive by about 6 pm.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
