Grand Combin, Swiss Alps, 2 Day Mountaineering

Located in the western Pennine Alps of Switzerland, the Grand Combin massif offers a tremendous collection of summits. And on this 2 day traverse, you will get to climb to several of those magnificent summits.

A definite highlights of the Swiss Alps, climbing and traversing the Grand Combin massif is a fulfilling, mesmerizing experience. And when it comes to great views, from each and every one of the summits you will reach, I can assure you they are nothing short of magical.

Some examples of the summits you will get to reach during this 2 day adventure include the following.

• Valsorey (4,184 m)

• Grafeneire (4,314 m)

• Tsessette (4,135 m)

Our journey will begin at either the Valsorey Refuge or at the Panossière Hut. From there, we will make our way up the massif until we reach its impressive collection of  summits. Due to the variety of summits, and based on a number of factors, including weather and snow conditions, as well as your skill level and desires, our route will be planned accordingly.

Considering that all of the Grand Combin massif’s summits exceed 4,000 meters, it is important that participants on this trip are in good physical condition. It is also important that participants have some prior mountain experiencing because while the massif is not exceedingly difficult, it can present some difficulties.
