This 6-day trip in northwestern Argentina takes you from Tilcara to San Francisco with impressive landscapes by the Inca Trails, with Tomás, certified guide
This trek is in the area of the Puna. It consists in making crossing to San Francisco in Tilcara, in northwestern Argentina.
I find it really very attractive. It’s not only for its landscapes. It’s also great for the transit through the ancient Inca Trails “Camino Incas”. In addition, the contact with various indigenous people of the area is very enriching.
In fact, this region has great archaeological value. Also, it has the particularity of connecting in only 70 km the arid Puna of Jujuy with the Jujeña jungle!
It would be a pleasure to share this experience together. Contact me to make your requests!
I also love hiking in the south of the country, for example in the Nahuel Huapi National Park.
2 nights at inns, 3 nights in tents.
The price per person decreases if there are several people in the group. I will check your equipment and personally advice you. I will provide a 1st Aid Mountain Kit, communications equipment VHF and GPS. Accident and liability insurance are provided.

Mountain Guide - EPGAMT - Argentina
I was born in Patagonia, Argentina and formed at an early age as a climber in the Nahuel Huapi National Park. Currently I completed a large number of rock and ice climbing routes, backcountry skiing and ascents in many mountains around the world such as Mt. Lhotse (8.516 mts.), the 4th highest peak in the world, without using supplemental oxygen (May, 2012).
I'm a certified Mountain Guide from the EPGAMT and a member of the Argentinian Mountain Guides Association (AAGM) and work on Mt. Aconcagua, which I had repeatedly ascended, as well as in other peaks in the Central Andes, Patagonia, Chile, Peru, Bolivia and in The Himalayas in Nepal.
During the winter season, I practice backcountry skiing, mostly on the volcanoes in Patagonia, where I can offer you different adventures, according to your level (beginner, learner or advanced learner).
I feel very privileged to work as a mountain guide, to do the job that I love, and to be able to share it with people that have the same passion.
Join my expeditions and I will provide you a high standard of safety and personal attention!
