Description

This trek consists of a four-day hike around Mt. Huemul, near the town of El Chaltén. Throughout the years this hike has become one of the most popular in the region.

Different types of landscapes, climbing routes, flora and fauna allow us, in only a few days, to enjoy a beautiful remote location in the Andes and catch amazing views of the Southern Ice Field.

On this Circuit, we will explore semi-technical terrains, such as snow, glaciers, and moraines. Spanning a distance of 60km and around 800 to 1600 meters of elevation, we will enjoy a fun challenge for outdoor adventure lovers. On this program, we will enter the circuit from Rio Túnel Valley up to Paso del Viento, then, we will go through to The Viedma Glacier up and out through Paso Huemul. We can also discuss other variants of the Huemul circuit if you wish.

No previous experience is necessary to join this program, but you do need to be in good physical shape since long hiking journeys are involved.
