Description

Come with me on this 21-day climbing ascent and let’s conquer together the summit of Khan Tengri Peak!

Located in the Tian Shan Mountain Range, the beautiful pyramid of Khan Tengri  is the second highest mountain of this great mountain range. Named by the local people of Kyrgyzstan “The Mountains of Heaven”, it is certainly the Jewel of the Tian Shan.

In 1931 it was first climbed by a Soviet expedition, vía the West Col and West Ridge. Since then, it has been climbed many times by people from every corner of the world.

I offer you one of the most popular routes among climbers, from the south, gaining the Western Col from the Southern Inylchek glacier. The West Ridge of Khan Tengri rises from the West Col and enjoyable as it may be, it does have a couple of sections which demand more attention:  the vertical rock step of about 50ft at 6,800m and the knife above.

As the ascent is highly challenging, it is important to have an excellent fitness level.

Our meeting point will be in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, and in the next morning we will drive to the base camp in Karkara (460 km). On the third day, we will fly by helicopter to base camp  “South Inylchek”(4000 m). After two days preparing for the ascent, we will climb to camp 1 (4200 m).

Depending on the weather conditions, we will stop in 3 or 4 camps during the ascent.

If you have any questions, I’ll be happy to answer. Request to book this trip and let’s start planning . I’ll make sure you have an experience of a lifetime!
