Description

Follow me on an incredible hiking and camping adventure in Los Glaciares National Park, Argentina. Come with me to one of the most important routes in El Chaltén for two incredible days and fall in love with the breathtaking views!

For this 2-day trip to Los Glaciares National Park, we’ll meet in El Chaltén and ride to Hostería El Pilar. From there, we will begin our hike with breathtaking views of the Fitz Roy peak and continue towards the Piedras Blancas glacier sightseeing spot. Then, we will continue towards Laguna De los Tres and descend to our camp at Poincenot.

On our second day, we’ll visit the Madre e Hija lagoons and go to the Cerro Torre valley. We’ll then go to the sightseeing spots of Cerro Torre, Laguna Torre and Glaciar Grande (or Big Glacier).

I recommend this trip to physically fit participants. Additionally, I do not suggest this program for pregnant women and people with heart surgery. Also, make sure to read the required equipment for this trip below.

Mountain Guide

Mountaineering is part of my life since I was a child. I'm from Ushuaia and now I'm leaving in El Chalten, two of the most beautiful places in Patagonia for hiking, skiing, climbing and feeling the strong and pristine Patagonian nature.

I started guiding in 2014 and it has turned a way of leaving. I have worked in many areas of the Andes Range, from the low and sharp mountains in Ushuaia until the high mountain in the Real Range (Bolivia), and many trekking and mountains in North Patagonia Area (Bariloche) and Central Andes (Mendoza). Now in El Chalten I guide many beautiful trekking in the area. I guide the treks in Los Glaciares National Park under license of Zeta Trek.

I'm also an experimented climber and a certificated climbing monitor FASA (Argentinian Federation of Skiing and Andinism). And I'm studying Waldorf Pedagogy oriented to physical activity.

Please get in touch with me if you wish to be guided in South Patagonia this summer! or to organize a beautiful adventure in the Andes whenever you feel it's the moment to experiment something new.

Lilen was a fantastic guide for our group. She educated us during our trek on the native plants, wildlife, surrounding geology and mountain topography. Shared amazing stories of people she has met, additional day hiking options in the area, and attempted to help improve our Spanish vocabulary. She did this all while making sure the actual trek was safe, enjoyable and not too strenuous. At times it felt just like we were hiking with a friend that we had total trust in rather than a stranger leading us through a majestic 4 day trek through the Andes. In all we had a blast and loved the entire experience. Thanks Lilen.
