Piton des Neiges Guided Ascent, Reunion Island

Join me to the summit of the Piton des Neiges (3,070m).

The top of this massive Volcano is the highest point on Reunion Island. It is also the highest peak in all of the islands in the Indian Ocean. Hence, why reaching the summit is such an incredible experience, and one that you will remember for the rest of your life.

This adventure takes 1 1/2 day.

We will make our way to the top of the Piton des Neiges by way of the Gros Morne Edge. From this mighty edge, you will be able to see the entire island. During the trek, we will also make our way through a special area full of protected and exotic birds called the Petrels de Barreau. Finally, after reaching the top of the Piton des Neiges, you will be able to see the magical town and commune of Cilaos Cirque.

No climbing experience is necessary for this trip. However, you should be in good physical condition because the route is very long. But with every step you take you will get closer to one of the greatest views you will ever see.
