Skeena Mountains 5-day heliskiing tour (Bell 2 Lodge)

Take this 5-day exciting heliskiing trip around the Bell 2 Lodge, in the Skeena Mountains of British Columbia. This resort will provide us with all the comfort we’ll need for an enjoyable heliskiing program in this fantastic location.

The ski conditions and terrain in this area are exceptional. You will find everything from huge glaciated tracks to beautiful tree runs. The possibilities are endless.

Located 360 km away from the village of Smithers, the Bell 2 Lodge combines the amenities of world class hotels with a rustic feel. Plus, it only accommodates 35 skiers per week, which make it extra relaxing.

After your arrival from Smithers, we will have an informal welcome session. Later, we will have a briefing on the schedule ahead. Also, each morning you will receive updated weather information and the departure time for your group.

The schedule for the first day includes training on the use of safety gear: ABS Airbag and the electronic avalanche transceiver. Plus, you will be able to practice a search. Also, the pilot will give you a safety briefing as well.

While each helicopter will be provided with small water bottles, we recommend bringing a personal hydration device if you have one.

Finally, heliskiing on Day 5 generally ends at 3pm. We will do our best to ski or ride longer if possible.

What to do if the weather conditions are bad? We can go snowshoeing around the Bell Irving River Valley. Maybe we will even see moose, wolfs or other animals typical of the Canadian winter.
