Description
Join us on this exciting climbing and skiing tour on Mount Shasta, California.
For this trip, we’ll meet at our office the day before. We’ll answer all the questions and make sure that you have the necessary equipment and experience for the day ahead of us. Together, we’ll define the itinerary.
The most common climbing route is the Avalanche Gulch Route, which offers incredible views. And the most popular descending route is the Hotlum-Wintun. Nonetheless, there are many other routes available and all skiing routes offer up to 7,000 feet of exciting continuous and uninterrupted skiable terrain.
It is highly recommended that you are an advanced skier or snowboarder in order to do this trip. Skills in ice axe, crampons and rope are also necessary to reach the summit. If you’ve participated in any Ski Mountaineering Clinic before, you’ll enjoy this trip even more. It is important that, once we reach the summit, you have enough energy left to enjoy a unique ski descent.
