3-day advanced rock climbing program in Gorges du Verdon

Sometimes called Europe’s Grand Canyon, the Gorges du Verdon is more like the Old Continent´s Yosemite Valley for climbers.

I propose you to spend a long weekend –3 days and 3 nights, from Thursday evening to Sunday evening– exploring lots of the  1500 different routes, that include some of the world’s best hard multi-pitch routes. We will choose them together. This will be a privately guided program, tailored to your wishes.

In the same way, we will choose some of the best accommodation in order to meet your preferences and budget. We will have picnics for lunch and have dinner in cozy village restaurants.

There are 350 meters of beautiful limestone that in the past was considered too high and featureless to be climbable. To get to some routes, we will have to abseil into them and set up hanging belays. But others are less committing and can be accessed from the valley floor. Of course, I will decide the difficulty of the routes depending on your level and wishes.

Although the scale of the place can be intimidating for newbies, the variety and quality of the rock are superb, with crimps, chimneys and perfect limestone pockets.
