Description
If you are coming to France and want to learn everything about rock climbing, this program in Calanques de Marseille is perfect for you!
Calanques de Marseille is a massif located in the Calanques National Park, in southern France. Situated by the Mediterranean Sea, this area has amazing landscapes with incredible rock formations and beautiful green waters. I invite to discover it on this 4-day trip.
On the first day, after we meet, we’ll share a picnic and go for our first climbs. On the following days, we’ll keep learning and practicing rock climbing in different spots while we contemplate the incredible surroundings. The course will focus on learning rock climbing basics and improving our skills.
The itinerary of this program is not predefined. We’ll arrange the activities according to the group’s interests and wishes. There are plenty of options available, with different durations and for different levels. Therefore, it is not mandatory to have prior experience, however it will be helpful to have a good fitness level.

I'm a certified rock climbing instructor born and raised in the French Alps. I will be delighted to share with you my passion for sports and help you discover the joys of rock climbing.
I can help you give your first steps in rock climbing or lead you as you improve or perfect your skills. I will be there to guide you and advise you, both in France and abroad. Climbing, nature, human bonds...nothing is more tangible.
Join me for an rock climbing initiation course, a via ferrata or to climb your first big wall. We can even spend the night on a portaledge!

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
